I use them extensively in my day job and have for decades. As connectors go there is little out there that is better. Work fine for audio too in my experience, just nonstandard and quite expensive.

Neutrik has a very nice alternative, which is quite a bit cheaper- the Re'an series of micro XLR. I've converted my phono (balanced) to their use.

Interesting assortment Kevin, though still at high prices. The only problem is that there are a near-infinite variety of Lemo connectors, so you'll have to be able to use - and buy matching m/f sets of - the ones these guys have available and you'd better buy as many as you'll ever want/need.
