Looking for 78M12HF and 79M12HF

Could someone point me to swap in parts for these 2.

They sound almost like 3 terminal fixed regulators .
7812 and 7912 - are they TO220 or TO 92 size devices?
If they are both are easy to find.

They are little square plastic things about the size of a first finger nail with 3 pins.
I figured they are not too hard to find, but managed to find nothing searching on google. Maybe cos I was searching for that whole "78M12HF".
7812 and 7912 do sound easier to locate I think. I'll try that.
