Used them and other heat pipes in mil communication gear, they are good and will fit in small gaps. Very good for class D designs where getting a heat sink on the active devices is not always easy due to layout. So you can optimise layout electronicly and transfer the heat from the hot spots to the case or remote heat sink.
whats the damage on them do you know marce? are they in the realms of possibility for DIY? i'm thinking of sending them a request for info, but I dont want to waste their time or mine if they are too expensive
