I am in the process of replacing all the electrolytics in a Denon PMA-737, from 1984, and in the phonestage is a orange polarized cap with the text 10uf 50v LR. It is 15*6 mm and closed with epoxy instead of the usual rubber.
Brand Nippon Chemicon. Do any of you guys know what is special about it? And what the LR means? |

It is about the double size of what you would expect for a 10uf/50v.
Sorry I can`t post a picture, I am still in the process of getting to know my camera too

Nippon Chemi-Con Corporation / Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitors
all they say is that it is a "LOW LEAKAGE CURRENT." replacement cap is LLA type.

I have used Nichicon FG 10uf/100v which have the same leakage as the suggested replacement, and available in my stash
