I'm building a new amp and this time around would like to solder on tabs rather than wire directly to the board.
I purchased some of these but the holes in the PCB are not big enough. I could go for something like this but then the surface area for the connection is much smaller.
Does anyone know of a connector that will do what I require and still retain the larger surface area?
Thanks,
Dan

I like using screw terminals like this or this. This seller also operates on eBay here or here. You can get simlar terminals from Mouser or Digi-key also, but you will likely end up paying a lot more. I am not affiliated in any way.

Spade terminals are known to corrode in time unless they are Gold plated.

You'd also need Gold plated recepticals. Nothing super expensive there as they are commonly available at a reasonable price.

Screw terminals do seem to last the test of time better.
