Hi all,
My sone has two Maplin 150 watt Mosfet amps that we would like to copy, problem is my local supplyer does not stock the following transistors:
2SD872A, 2SD756, 2SD716,

I am not a boffin, but they seem to be high voltage TO92, any one want to suggest alternatives. Unfortunately I only have the stuffing guide and no schematic, but it appears to be similar to a Mosfet design by Penfold.

Any help will be appreciated

MJE13070
2SC2535
2SC2827
2SC3830

2SD756: Uni, 120V, 0,05A, 0,75W, 350MHz
Possible replacements:
2SC2632
2SC3245A
2SC3248
2SC3800

2SD716: HiFi-NF-E, 100V, 6A, 60W, 12MHz
Possible replacements:
BD245C

Hi

According to On semi the 2SD872 is equivalent to the MJE3055T. One just needs to be careful of the Vce.

I cant find a direct replacement for the other two devices. At least not in any references I normally use.
Your suggestion that they may be high voltage TO92 seems to be correct. According to their data sheet they are rated: Vce = 120V.
