Has anybody ordered from a site called diyproaudio.com? I ordered a horn driver 3 weeks ago from them, I haven't recieved it, and they have yet to respond to my emails!

I finally heard back from them like 2 weeks ago, they said they would look in to it the next day. I have yet to hear back again.

Incredibly cheezy site and no phone number!!! That always raises a red flag. If they don't want you calling them, there's gotta be a problem.

It's very odd (isn't it?) to have NOTHING that tells the costumer who you are nor where you live. I wonder if they have a reason for the be "secret"?

The Admin name information should be the owner of the shop?

The Admin info is the person in charge of the domain administration. In this case it seems to be the owner. I called the number and I got an answering machine. It is unlikely that the site is a full time job for the owner.
If you ordered with a credit card you may be able to dispute the payment in case the company does not deliver the goods as promissed. If you can, cancel the order and buy from a reputable merchant. When purchasing from a company in the US, check it at www.bbb.com first. You can also verify the ratings of select merchants at www.bizrate.com.

well, I used paypal with my checking account, so no luck there. I will try calling next week, that information is AMAZING Tazzy! Thank you!!! How did you get all that?

All I really needed was a new diaphragm for my horn driver (in my home made Talk Box), which is like a dollar at PartsExpress.com, but I figured $11 for a new horn driver was a good deal, seeing as mine is from the 70s!

This person also used to sell many items on ebay, thats how I came accross them. But I don't think they've sold anything in quite a while.

Some domain checkers (enom.nl in this case) show the complete info for a domain name.

That's about the first thing I thought about when you started this thread

This company if it is one stinks. I ordered 2 speakers 2 months ago and they won't return my emails. I never recieved the iems I bought. Tons of negative feedback on ebay. I reported them to the FBI for fraud.

well, at least I know I'm not alone. It seems like when I first ordered, I checked their feedback, and it was all positive on ebay, but maybe I didn't. Thats good that you reported them. Mine was only like $11, but I could see how others maybe have given them a lot more.
