Why not drill oversize holes in the thick chassis and mount conventional RCA jacks on a thin panel behind it.
I'm have seriously considered this option but, want to try and avoid it if possible. A little bit of OCD kicking in lol.

I'd have thought that most RCAs would fit through a 3mm panel.
