K2955/J554 - fake?

Hello,

I bought 2SK2955 and 2SJ554 ( Hitachi ) transistors a few weeks ago. They looks different than original. Please look at the pictures, plastic cases are the same, olny different thing is mark on them. Probably the original one is SJ554, but I'm not sure maybe both are fakes? I have 1st time K2955/J554 on my hands.

OK THESE ARE FAKES !
Contacted Renesas lastnight, used your photos and send over to the guys today.

I've got confirmation from engineer from Renesas and all can say is that these here are fakes for sure.

Be aware, surface has been sanded down, and new etching done, probably some other fets has been used or who knows what else.
Anyway do not recommend using those devices in any projects.

It is so frustrating that it is so difficult to buy original and genuine trans these days.
Seems that everything which is worth more than 1$ is worth being counterfeited for someone in the far east.
