Hi Im looking to replace the caps in a Dacmagic, the recommended replacement is mostly Sanyo OS-CON SC's but are there any other good alternatives or just other recomended high grade audio caps?
Budget is not a concern here... transparency and goodness is |

I replaced all of the Electrolytic 47uf caps in the analogue part of my DAC with 10uf MKP from Valab on ebay. The advantage being that they are physically smaller than boutique caps. The tranparency took off like a rocket. 5USD a piece. Wima MKP 10uf seem to be relatively small compared to boutiques also and are likely to be much more transparent than the Electro's in the DacMagic. OS-CONs seem to be recommended only for use in the digital section of the DAC at least in these pages. I have yet to try them however I am tempted.
