There are many 2SJ109 dual Jfets listed on Ebay. Does anyone know whether they are legit, or fake? Anyone had a good experience with them?

I would never buy components off ebay, I find I can often get them cheaper from reputable dealers and i know they are coming form a reliable source.

Buy from a reputable dealer, check them carefully when they arrive, return them if they are fakes. Assume they are fakes until you satisfy yourself that they are not. It seems like a bit of a gamble but that's life. I recently bought some Toshiba FETs from Cricklewood Electronics - CCTV. CCTV Equipment. CCTV Systems. Digital CCTV Cameras which turned out to be good-uns but I am not familiar with NA suppliers.

Cricklewood haven't got 2SJ109s but Littlediode do have them - at a hell of a price though.

Have you considered using two matched 2SJ74s in a dual heatsink clip.

Hi all:
A friend of mine who is retired (electronics technician) has a few 2sj109 in stock for sale. Is there any easy way to verify if are real ones with a multimeter and maybe a 9V battery? Thank You!!! |
