When it comes to lytics it's nice to know you have a fresh intact part.
Heat would be a concern but give it a try. I don't know if the "snap-ins" are more sensitive or not to heat.
Clean the parts well first to minimize soldering time. Acid flux would do it, but would have to be completely cleaned afterwards.

I'd replace it personally. If it's aesthitically important then gut it and use the body as a cover for the replacement part.
Not that important just was trying to save it is all..... they were given to me so i don"t know who makes it
