Suitablr fet replacement

I am sure I am not the first, but so many vague posts.
Looking for replacements for the famous 2SK134 and 2SJ49 lateral mosfets as used by Hafler. Package is not important. actually I hate TO3 as it requires yo to carry the current through the mounting hardware. Not good.

I came across the EXICON ECF10N16 / ECF10P16 160V, 8A, happen to be TO3.

Do these look reasonable, or has someone else figured out a more suitable replacements from IRF or somebody?

Check out the 2SK1058 / 2SJ162 pair, very similar silicon in a TO3P package.

This website (Just found) is fantastic.
My big amplifier, using 2SK134/2SJ162 has blown up.
(Do NOT disconnect spkrs with amp powered up)
2SK1058 is higher max voltage rating compared to 2SK 134, (Or slightly improved)
OK, Different mounting, so drill a hole!
