Levinson 380s Preamp on the FRITZ! GRRR!
Any suggestions why my volume knob wont work anymore. Wont raise or lower volume at all. I can control volume with the remote. I have talked to Levinson it didnt go well....you know...."send us alot of money and we will let you know whats wrong with it". I have reset it a number of times, but no workie !

Hi I had the same problem some years ago the optical encoder neds replacing it is a HP HEDS-5701-C12 I think HP products are now sold by Avago Technologies. Mouser used to carry them, but be warned they are quite expensive around $75.00
