Hi,
I'm about to assemble a bride of zen from Nelson pass. I'm a beginner (1st project), so I'll ask a beginner question : I got a PCB, which you can see on N.Pass website: http://www.passdiy.com/pdf/brideofzen.pdf My problem is I don't know how to mount the MOFSETs because the drain is far from the source and gate. The drain also seems to have a bigger hole which I guess is for heatsink mounting. How I am suppose to link the drain pin of the MOFSET to the PCB ? What heatsink model is expected to be used ? The MOFSET: http://www.vishay.com/docs/91023/91023.pdf Thanks Pierre |

The drain is also connected to the tab of the mosfet. You put a screw through the tab of the mosfet and then the heatsink and screw it to the drain hole.
Maybe something like this for the heatsink. http://search.digikey.com/us/en/prod.../HS115-ND/5849 Last edited by RJM1; 11th December 2011 at 07:23 AM. |
