I came across this on ebay
eBay - The UK's Online Marketplace Is it worth it? Looks well made and the price is affordable. Considering the 3kHz crossover point for the dome tweeter given for the model Mentor , a pretty decent mid-woofer is required to make a 2way possible. |

Hi . Jazko.
I thought crossing over at approx 3KHz was the norm for a two way system. unless using a woofer of say over 6 to 8 inches Then like you say it would take a pretty decent mid woofer if it was larger. Im thinking 3Khz is as low as a tweeter should be crossed over as we want to keep the crossover point out of the most sensitive part of or hearing.. Best Regards Ian Ps I just had a look at the said tweeter and the seller quotes the lower crossover point to be only 1KHz im sure that canot be right the 8 KHz quoted for the ribbon super tweeter section sound pretty normal however.
