Folks:
I am planning my next preamplifier project and am looking for oversized aluminum knobs, preferably 56 or 58mm in diameter and 28 to 35mm tall, with a couple of set screws and a 6.3mm hole. I probably need only 2 or 4 pieces. My usual sources (ebay and vt4c.com) have come up dry. I tried sending an email to Mr. Valecha at Harry Electronics through one of those "buyer's brokers" systems and am now getting a flood of offers for door knobs (indiamart.com will soon find its way onto my spam list); does anyone have an email address for Mr. Valecha or another source for big audio knobs (please repress the desire to insert a bad pun here)? Many thanks, Scott

Folks:
To be clear, I'd prefer something like vt4c's KB-AL40S (Audio Catalog), only larger. Regards, Scott

Local machine shop is your quickest route, most likely.

We had made a lot of custom design knobs. The most close one is 48mm(dia) x 27(tall), made of hard aluminum alloy, black and silver oxide, sand blaster finish. About $7.5 each (mass order)

Folks:
This is encouraging. We all know there are a lot of smaller knobs out there, but I also trust that somewhere someone is pushing the envelope. Does anyone have an address for Mr. Valecha at Harry Electronics? Regards, Scott
