Hi, yesterday i got a bit over zealous with some cable ties, and sandwiched a tie inbetween 2 caps and then put another 2 ties around these caps, the result was a little dent in the metal casing in the middles of the caps.
Has anyone done anything really silly like this b4, and if so were the caps still usable? Problem is i did this 8 times b4 i noticed anything amiss, (believe me i didnt say 'oops' when i noticed this problem) so thats 16 caps potentially wasted, (although they were only a £1 each they are p2p wired so are a right bitch to get out!) Any advice would be appreciated! Nik |

Hi Nik,
I have not noiced any problem caused by dents in the past, though for absolute reliability I would change them. Cheers, |
