Looking for Toshiba transistors

Hi,

The output stage of one the channels of my power amp stopped working and the output transistors and drivers are shortening:

2SC3298-Y (Toshiba)
2SA1306-Y (Toshiba)

I have searched the internet and found a few vendors that sell these models but they are not made by Toshiba.

Does any one know where can I find these transistors manufactured by Toshiba?

Will you consider used transistors? They are discountinued , almost impossible to find new. If someone said he has new products, 95% possibility they are not made by Toshiba.

i was looking fo them to,i was building a A15 preamplifier ,i found plenty of replacements , just search for " replacement or alternative 2sc3298-Y ,then if you find one search for replacement for that one and so on,i found more then 5 types of transistors this way ,2 of them foun on local market , and i got the oldest ones, i want analog sound -- you follow this direction and youll find it

Yes, I also consider using used ones. However, is there a way to know that they are in working order before sending them?

Hi xslavic,

Looking for a replacement for these transistor is one direction I am looking at.. can you specify the models of the replaces ones that you found?

The pair 2SC5171 & 2SA1930 seems very close to the original one.
