Here is a picture of OPA627AP from Digikey.
They run quite warm compared to plain op-amps. They are laser-trimmed so you might have ones that did not meet specification. Otherwise, I am not sure why they are so cheaply priced from China. |

Usually, the place of manufacture printed on IC packages is where the die was packaged, ie the package mfr, not the semiconductor manufacturer.

Surplus items may be sold much cheaper than the regular products,so they become cheaper.I think an opamp does not age by years,can be used as new after ten years so can be bought much cheaper.
