Hi There,
I'm modifing my Rotel RSP-1068 decoder. The analog circuitry is powered by an 7805, for opamps 7818/7918. I'v changed all the crapy caps in the signal line for Muse BP, changed all the output opamps TL072/NE5532 for LME 49860. The weak point is the PSU right now. I have allready replaced the rectifier diodes for schottkey's. can anyone reccomend a PSU kit for replacing the 7805, 7818/7918? Even without the mods, those three regulors run quite hot. So a kit needs to handle at least 1A. |

Hi Koenjer!
I'm thinking of improving the analog section of RSP1068 was thinking of replacing the TL072 for a OPA or AD op amps but I see that you thought in a LME49860, I think that's good, what is your experience? and made the changes? have you thought about putting the LME in A class? I am very interested in your results. Best Regards |
