I'm attempting to find a source for type of unconventional speaker ports, which I've made out of conduit and other materials in the past, but now must find something which looks professional. Other criteria:
-ID from 2-3 cm and the length a total of 10-15cm -Generously flared -Must have a curve (elbow) to it Challenging, I know. Other than Europe Audio, Madisound or Parts Express, where else might I try to find this. I have access to various rapid prototyping (fused deposition molding, etc) at the university, but this is terribly costly. Needing to be certain that what I'm searching for doesn't already exist before going down such a production path. Thanks! |

JBL had to pay Bose a few million for patent infringement on a flared port. So you may want to look into that before going into production.
