Sanyo 2SC4695

Thanks for the quick reply. Yes I have been looking for substitutes but I see that the 2 sc4695 has a high emitter to base voltage of 25V. All subsitutes have a 5 or 6 volt rating. This part is used in the input stage of a crest 9200 pro series amp.

It might help to see it in its intended application...

Must admit it is a device with a different structure to normal n-p-n junctions which give it different properties but things like the reverse voltage rating is something that normally isn't of much concern in audio. 6 volt or 60 volt, its an area we never normally go too.

It is a high gain device, it does have excellent HF properties and it does have an exceptionally low "on" resistance.

If there's room could "leaded" devices be fitted ?
Perhaps approach Sanyo asking for their appointed semiconductor outlets in your country.
