after putting in pot/RCA selector switch on several t-amps, sound is not clean when I increase the vol without a source input.
I am sure I can improve with a shielded hookup wire (solid, 22gauge) and keeping the input wire short.
I am having difficulty locating the wire, can someone direct me?
thanks,
gychang

Hi gychang,

if interference suppression is that important then select the shielded 4 core microphone cable.
It outperforms all other styles of hook up wire pairs in audio situations, except lowest capacitance. But any decent source will be designed to drive this capacitance.
thanks Andrew.
