Does anyone know if there is an available single-sided PCB image suitable for at-home etching for the PCM2704 with analog out (and optionally SPDIF)? I have found several that have almost exclusively surface mount components, but I have no experience with SMD parts. Although I'm sure I could solder them (and must for the PCM2704), I don't know anything about sourcing decent sounding SMD capacitors, size of SMD resistors, etc.
This is my first home-made PCB project and I was hoping to learn one new skill at a time. Reference: I have found 2 suitable sources for PCB images with SMD components: one is from pavouk.org and the other is from this thread. |
