Default Audax TW034X0 Replacement Voice Coil Polarity

I am replacing the voice coil assemblies on my Audax TW034X0. The replacements (RW034X0) do not have the polarities marked as fas as I can see. Is there a way other than using a battery to determine the polariy of the replacements?

No problem : Holm impulse, Arta, Rew, any, just check in what direction the impulse starts

But some drivers/soundcard combinations inverse the polarity. To make it clear check with an other driver where + and - are clearly positioned.

Honestly, a battery is the way to go. It's quick, simple and won't harm anything. I use two AA cells in a holder with flying leads for domestic drivers, and a PP3 for pro drivers. I've tested hundreds, and never broken anything yet.

That's right Pink, but sometimes with tweeters it's harder to see something...and I don't even think of compression drivers...

Even easier, just test after fitting the new diaphram, before putting the back cover on.

Thanks for the replies. I will do the battery method. Seems strange that the factory does not mark the polarity.
