Default Buying SMPS Transformer Cores

I'm trying to wind my own transformer for a SMPS but I cant seem to find a good place to buy them. I need an E25/13/7 Core. Digi-key and Mouser don't seem to have them. Anybody know if other places do?

Type into your search engine "ferrite core manufacturer" and a lot of names come up, mostly Chinese but also some in the US, GB and DE. E

Hi Sh00pus,
Finding a source for small DIY quantities of transformer components (bobbins, laminations, etc) IME is near impossible. I don't know of any place that sells both. You could try a custom transformer winder and see if they have what you need and would be willing to sell them too you from there stock (Electra-Print, Heyboer Transformer, MagneQuest).

Here's a link to a source for small quantities of cores.
Bridgeport Magnetics Group, Inc. Transformers

Hope this helps...good luck.
