I have attached a schematic of a preamplifier circuit where a volume pot with a 50K value (100K with 33K resistor) is used in a cathode follower circuit following a .68uf capacitor. Together they have a cutoff frequency value of about 5 hz.
Does it matter to this circuit whether a larger value pot is substituted? Say a 500K with a .068uf cap which would give the same cutoff frequency, but would the circuit be effected in another way that I'm failing to consider?
