I have access to various Professional speaker boxes of all shapes and sizes, $15 dollars per box. These are subwoofer boxes from the 80s, 90s, 00s with broken drivers.
What are your thoughts on putting in the latest driver(15") and rewiring these boxes? Is there a downside in terms of audio? I won't be designing these boxes, I'm just going to buy one not too big and not too small. What should I look for in the subwoofer design. Is each driver different and will I generally be ok with any subwoofer box? Thanks for the advice about reusing old subwoofer boxes. |
