Hi again,
I should warn you that you should check out US prices before you travel to India. Some components are much cheaper here ! I bought a TDA2050 for Rs35. That is under US$0.80 ! I also bought a laser assembly for a Philips CD player mechanism ( CDM12.1 I think ) for Rs350/- . That is US$7/- or so. They all work fine.Not all parts are cheaper. So better check before you come so that you can decide where to buy it. Cheers.
