Has anybody ever messed with the Apogee remote control products? I'm thinking of trying their Rf version, with 8 channels, for my preamp project. I'm planning to design my own receiver circuit using the Rf receiver module and a HolteK HT-12D decoder chip. The spec didn't say what form the data comes out of the decoder chip in, but it's on four pins. I'm guessing binary, since four pins isn't enough for 8 channels. Any help will be much appreciated.
