No idea about the transformer quality, and there are only 9 attenuation steps, but this may be a useful tool...?
Pair Japan made 9 Set 600:600Ohm TRANSFORMER ATTENUATOR on eBay (end time 16-Feb-11 20:40:58 GMT) I bought a couple for a bit of fun. Think I'll try one on the output of a cheap CS4397 dac (to do balanced to unbalanced conversion plus crude volume control, if the range is sufficient). |
