Default Favourite Transistors

My first real post here, please bear with me. I did do some searching first.

I have been on a bit of an audio building hiatus and am looking to get things started back up with a new project. My personal stocks are looking rather low and am looking to resupply myself. So, the question is:

For new from scratch, BJT based amplifier projects, what are the favoured devices folks are using these days? I generally target the 50W - 200W into 8Ω power range and use class B output.

Favourites for input, differential pairs, current sources?

Favourites for VA and Vbe multiplier?

Favourites for driver and outputs?

I know there are thousands of devices out there, but folks must have some stand-out favourites for audio. I'm primarily interested in current production and easily obtained in Canada. Also, when choosing devices for the various functions / stages what general parameters should be given highest ranking in terms of importance?

Let me know what devices get your electrons flowing and why! Thanks.
