I'm currently replacing outputs in an amp which originally consisted of the Toshiba 2SC3820/2SA1301 combo. Replacement choices are On-Semi MJL3281A / MJL1302A pair OR Toshiba 2SC5200 / 2SA1943 pair!
I KNOW that they are essentially the same but just wanted some opinions regarding one being counterfeited more than the other etc... In-other-words, is it "safer" to go with one rather than the other? Thanks P~P |

Some ST replacements like the 2STA1962 and 2STC5242 could be another choice. Probably truer to your originals compared to the 5200/1943 and not a high profile target for fakers - yet.
