Magnavox CDB 650 Tray Drive Belt Replacement

I inherited a Magnavox CDB 650 without a belt. Has anyone ever replaced theirs, and know the proper length for the replacement.

It seems to be less than 2 inches by observation from the small pulley to the large Drive Wheel but this is guesstimate.

Well I don't know what a CDB 650 is, but if the belt is under 2" long, I tend to use rubber O-rings. The hardware store will have an assortment at $.10 each. If you find the right length but want a square cross section, mcmaster.com sells bags of 100 o-rings of round or square cross section. You can measure by looping a string around it and marking the crossing point with a sharpie or felt marker.

Take some measurements and order a few in and around your measurements (a bit smaller, they tend to stretch) from mcm electronics.

Wrap a piece of string around the belt path, then measure the resulting loop. Then take Pirate's advice.
