TORX141 and TORX147 seem identical but they are not

I built a DAC a few years ago and used TORX141 as optical receiver. It seems that TORX141 is not available anymore. The alternative is TORX147.
The two units seem to be identical according to the datasheets.
I bought two pieces of TORX147 only to find that the pins are reversed ( output pin is swapped with power pin ).

The datasheets are correct, and so are your components. Yes, they may appear identical in the datasheets at first, but look more closely.
The Torx141 datasheet shows pinning bottom-view, the Torx147 datasheet does not.

Torx141 bottom view: VCC - GND - Output.
Torx147 rear view: VCC - GND - Output
Torx147 converted to bottom view: Output - GND - Vcc.

So, indeed, they are not identical.

I used a TORX141 that had been marked as "tentative" in the datasheet when building the first DAC. Now i want to put together the second one and I cannot find a torx receiver with this pin configuration anymore. I am now thinking of building a small adapter PCB to fit the TORX147.
