Hello everyone --
I'm stopping into Hong Kong and Shanghai for 3 days each in the next couple of weeks and am trying to locate some parts to put together some DIY amps, switches and preamps. I'm from USA, so I can source most parts quickly or cheaply, but chassis and similar hardware are tougher to come by (or shipping from Asia is often prohibitive). Does anyone know where I can get decent chassis or project boxes for a fairly low price in Hong Kong? Or other notable DIY amp/preamp suppliers with brick and mortar shops in either Hong Kong or Shanghai? I doubt I'll make it back to either area in the near future, and I would like to make the most of this opportunity. Thanks everyone! |

I seriously doubt either place would appear cheap compared to the US, but fwiw last time i was in HK, VT4C were kind enough to deliver a huge box to my hotel. You may want to check them out.

Appears you're correct, although I'll probably head to Apliu Street for entertainment. I'm sailing and I won't have a physical address for delivery, otherwise I would order from VT4C.
