Default thanks a lot

Thanks a lot Aucosticraft! I am trying my best to
contribute in my small capacity, it is negligible compared
to what I gained from this beautiful community in
diyaudio.com. I will be happier if my efforts help some
people....

By the way, JPED also sends items by courier...Or in case
if you feel comfortable I am willing to be the middle man....

Regards
Roushon.

Default Online parts purchase...

If you want the convenience of online purchase but do not
mind paying little more then see the following website. It
deals with Farnell (now Element14) parts but you do not
need any VAT or TIN number. So far I have not
purchased from them so do not know about their
services. But as it is related to Kitsnspares of Electronics
for you magazine, it should be good.

Shopping.kitsnspares.com

Another bit from my side...

Rs 4718/- (incl Tax), 2006 from radio electric, the address
in this thread)

230v primary, 15-0-15v, 15-0-15v 2Amp per rail sec. (
one piece Rs 900/- (incl Tax), 2009 from Chandratronics
again address in this thread).

The addresses are in post 3.

Both are very good.

Roushon,
Any reason why toroidals from chandratronics are low priced ? I inquired with them and they quoted the same Rs.900 for one piece. I am building a Mauro Penasa Myref and was looking for a 180-220 VAC 22-0-22 toroidal.

Is the quality decent enough ?

I do not know why cheap. The toroidal is working fantastic
for the last one and half year. There is another source
`Disco Winding', the address is in post number 77
in this thread itself. His name is Jehangir. He seems to
be a very professional guy, but I have not yet got
anything made from him. I ordered for some choke
but he did not find any suitable ferrite ring, so the
order got canceled. You can take a chance.
Toroidal is also there in the website I gave in the
previous post, but expensive.

Roushon.

Shipping is expensive for importing directly from aborad and also the custom
people damages things. I learnt it in a very hard way by experience.
