I know there have been motor threads on here before but I am just after the latest advice on these. My current turntable build is based around Rega mechanicals for ease of supply and replacement, for simplicity and cost and for ease of upgrading if required. There seems to be many versions of the Rega type motor from the likes of Philips, Airpax, McLennan and Hurst to name but a few. Can anyone point out any major differences between these and other similar motors. I am using an old unbranded Rega unit while I am building but will replace it when the build is complete. Thanks.
