Just got a great deal on ebay for some capacitors. I know that this is sort of public knowledge but I just wanted to point out that a guy named James is selling lots of nice caps under the name of capacitor12 . Just about all of his stuff would be great for tubeee's or even SS or even speakers! I bought a bunch of stuff offline...he'll cut you a great deal.

He won't respond to email. Do you know if he will ship to Canada? His deal on 12000 uF caps is pretty sweet and I'd like to get in on it!
Thanks. |

I emailed him on July 10th, no response to date. I guess he doesn't do Canada. Bummer.

I got 4 CDE 12,000uf/80V caps, but they seems to be produced in early 90's. Too old to use?

Hi, Matthew
Since they were manufactured in 1990 or so, I'm afraid the electrolyte in them was dried, considering the relatively not large volume they have ( 30mm X 50 mm ).

Reminds me of something Ace Ventura would do. Connect them to high voltage. Get a hunk of wire. "SHORT TEST EVERYONE"... |
