Volume Control Potentiometer Recommendation?

Hello,

I was about to order all of the parts for my Cmoy amp I'm building until I remembered I forgot about the pot! Potentiometer that is.

I usually don't have any sort of electromechanical stuff onboard when I build circuits so I'm not too good with potentiometers. Please bear with me.

1.) Any brand in particular that is good?

2.) Wattage rating have any effect besides just being able to withstand more juice?

3.) What material. Cermet or Conductive Plastic?

Here are two I've been considering. Are they valid for this application?
