Default High Voltage Mosfet reccomendations

I have a project where I need to draw up to 1.25 amps at 170vdc through a mosfet. I have been staring at data sheets for all sorts of mosfets. but when you start looking at the SOA of these devices. most cant handle 1 amp at 170 volts. I need N-Channel only. any suggestions for something that maybe has a 2 amp SOA at 170-200v?? To-220 preferred but i can make anything work.

Zc

well I am not sure how to calculate that. just doing the math, at 120vdc and 1.15a it is 140w but this is for a PWM switch so it will be run on 170Vdc at 70% duty cycle or less.

You would probably be better off asking that over on the power supply forum.
