Can someone tell me what this is?

I need to know what this is and where to get it. It has 224j100 printed on the top. It is to a diamond audio 400.1 amp. i am looking at the gray box on the two metal sticks.

Actually, it IS a cap, 0u22 (or 220,000 pF or 220nF), 100V, film. You can find this at any of the major electronics parts houses (Newark, Mouser, DigiKey...). Should be under a dollar.

Welllllll - it is a messed up cap - and those cost extra 'cause someone has to go into the lab and blow one up. Those "one of a kind" orders do cost extra.

BUT - if you want a new cap that actually works then follow the suggestion provided by SY.

is this what im looking for? I don't really know what to look for exactly cause i have no idea about any of this stuff and there is so much to choose from.

Then one has to also wonder why it blew up.. Defective part or just a symptom of something wrong elsewhere? I'd replace it and it that does not solve the problem then I would go look for a good tech.
