I want to have Transistor comparable lists between factory number (often identical to the replacement part number order code) and the typical industrial type number (e. g. like Motorola's power device 132-070 for McIntosh = Industry standart 2N5303).
Cwown, KLH, Krell, Marshal, Threshold and much more other manufacturers of amplifiers don't use the JEDEC, JIS, ProElectron or RCA typical five-digit norm 40xxx resp. "RCA*A**"/"RCA*C**" . Instead this still their factory number are to read on the power devices. From Altec-Lansing such list was released and is to find of one of their history sites. But about the various schematics from the at botton mentioned link you will find much more such type numbers on the semiconductor devices. Who knows about such lists from the other brands, especially for their early amplifier models (home audio, public address, instrumental, industrial-lab) between 1957 and 1979 ??? Concerning "Vintage Transistors" in general follow thread could be of interest: Overview of Brands and Models from first Solid State Audio Amplifier Components want.
