I'm going to build a power unit with 24v 8A secondaries . I need specs for diode which labeled as "AEI 7113" "40 AS". I'm not sure if these are suitable for rectifier bridge.

I can't find the specs, but probably not. "The unusual nature of AEI and the general decline in heavy industrials led it into financial difficulties and in 1967, AEI was absorbed into the still-expanding GEC and disappeared as a brand."
Mister Transistor's Historic Semiconductors You might want something newer. |

These little diodes would become quite hot at 8A, if they didn't blow first !
Try something more modern, such as a 10A, 15A or 20A rectifier bridge for a couple of dollars.
