Default Jumper?

What are the little jumper thingies that connect two pins on computer motherboards or back of hard drives that you can remove and put on other pins?

I want to buy both the pins and jumper (connectors?) for my circuit board but don't know what they are called...

Thanks!

What do you call the thru hole pins that the shunts are pushed onto?

I can't seem to make a good link, so go to Digi-Key and search for jumpers and pins.

Any of the Molex KK headers - .100 pin spacing I think - (I'm reasonably sure that equivalents are available from other manufacturers) should do what you need. Mouser and DigiKey carry lots of different varieties (use their search feature). I have ordered long strips of 'breakaway' headers and found them very useful.
