I am hoping to repair my Boston Acoustics computer speakers, model BA745. I think I need to replace (on the circuit board) the receptacle for the 8-pin power-in plug because I used to have to wiggle that plug to get the power to stay on, then later I had to push the plug down considerably harder and eventually it stopped working. I called Boston Acoustics, then called a man they recommended and also checked a local specialty store. Does anyone know where that part might be found on the cheap?

First, have you checked to see if it just needs to be resoldered to the circuit board?
