Default Audio transformer question

If I have a step-up audio transformer with two independent primaries and two independent secondaries, can I connect the input to one primary and one secondary, and connect the output to one secondary and one primary, and thereby get a 1:1 ratio?

Any sneaky pitfalls?

Why make it so complex? Just use the primaries or the secondaries. Leave the other pair open.

What he said. Just make sure you insulate the ones you don't use.

Oh yeah. D'oh!

Hmm... Would I get better signal level using all the coils, though?

Edit: oops -- meant SNR, not level as such. Need more coffee... No of course I wouldn't would I, I'd get more copper loss due to increased winding resistance. Primary inductance would be increased so the low-end response would be extended some, but otherwise there'd be no improvement in using more coil, would there.
