Hello peeps,
I am trying to identify equivalents or find datasheet links for 3 components on the PSU board (PSU04-01) for a Philips HTS3500S DVD player and wondered if anyone could help. The first is a simple diode - 1 of 4 used in a bridge supplied by mains AC. The part number on it is LT433 1505. It is an axial diode, physically a bit bigger than a 1 amp diode like 1N4000 series, but a lot smaller than the 1N5000 3 amp series. If I could just find out the current and reverse voltage ratings that would help. The second device is IC101, a STRN W6856, which is in a 6 legged heatsink mountable TO220 package (ish). It seems to be the 'chopper' IC in this SMPSU board. Again I cannot seem to find an equivalent or datasheet. The last device is AR101, looks like a clear glass diode body, circuit symbol is like a capacitor inside a circle. It has no markings on it; I suspect it may be a spark suppressor? I do have the service manual PDF for the DVD player but it doesn't include a parts list for the PSU board ! I have also cheekily asked Philips if I can access their dealer service site but don't hold out too much hope.
