any place to get cheaper transformers?

im wanting to build an aleph 3 for my bedroom system, but i cant seem to find a cheap transformer for it. the place i get most of my stuff surplus is nice, but they carry jack for transformers.

i want a nice toroidal, but plitron is the only real place i know of. is there somewhere else a little more reasonable to get quality transformers?

well, i have a lot of little projects going on, and a lot of stuff i want to build.

i have a source for just about any heatsink you could want for $10 or so, but transformers are holding me back from building some nice amps

yeah he said that he can get heatsinks for cheap we want to know where and if he can get some if we send him money..

yeah, heatsinks arent a huge problem to find, but transformers are proving quite difficult. if anyone needs anything specific as far as heatsinks go, let me know, ill see what i can come up with.
